Here is the latest edition of Member's Message, the newsletter published exclusively for you and other members of The Conservative Caucus (TCC).
Maybe you've already heard the good news: President Donald Trump is seeking a 40 percent budget cut for the corrupt, anti-American U.N.
So please take a moment to complete your short survey, Slash U.N. Funding NOW! so TCC can release results to Congress and the news media as it debates the 2017-18 budget.
And please make a donation of $15, $20, $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help TCC create the public pressure on Congress to win this David vs. Goliath battle against the pro-U.N. globalists on the Left and inside the Republican Establishment.
Trump says that although the United Nations has "great potential," it "never settles anything" and it's "just a club for people to get together, talk and have a good time."
My first thought was, "It's about time we had a President with the nerve to tell the truth about the U.N.!"
But in Washington, DC, the truth doesn't count for much. President Trump is going to need your help, and mine, to pressure weak-kneed Republican "leaders" like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell to do the right thing and cut the U.N.'s budget.
I'm sure you're aware taxpayers like you and I pay the lion's share of the U.N.'s expenses. Even though there are 193 member nations, the United States pays dues of about $8 billion a year, or 22 percent of the U.N. budget.
But did you know that in 2015, 35 countries were charged the minimum regular budget assessment of just one thousandth of 1 percent (0.001) which works out to approximately $28,269 each?
What's more, 20 countries will be charged the minimum peacekeeping assessment of just one ten-thousandth of 1 percent (0.0001 percent) or approximately $8,470 apiece. (That's less than a used car!)
So while a total of 55 countries will pay less than $30,000 each, you and I and our fellow taxpayers will get smacked with a bill of $8 billion.
And for what?
For totalitarian nations like North Korea, Cuba, and Communist China to lecture us about human rights?
For radical Muslim nations like Iran to denounce America as "The Great Satan" and routinely threaten to incinerate Israel with nuclear weapons?
And for "progressive" European nations like France to impose "global" taxes on Americans to fund their phony global warming schemes?
I say "No thanks," and I'm sure you do, too!
The only question is whether "We, the People" will get our way or whether the despots and dictators will continue to get theirs.
So please help me capitalize on what could be an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to slash or even eliminate U.S. taxpayer funding for the U.N.
Your donation will be quickly put to work in TCC's $2.65 million nationwide campaign to:
Please make the best donation you can afford right now, today, to help pressure Congress to start cutting off funding for the corrupt, anti-America U.N. now, while we finally have a President on our side.
P.S. Please complete your Slash U.N. Funding NOW! survey today if possible, so TCC can release results to Congress before it finalizes its 2017-18 budget.
As I mentioned, you and I finally have a President who isn't afraid to tell the truth about the corrupt, anti-American United Nations. Donald Trump is seeking a 40 percent cut in the U.N.'s budget, but he can't succeed all by himself.
Please make a donation of $15, $20, $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help TCC turn up the heat on Congress so we can win this David vs. Goliath battle against the pro-U.N. globalists inside and outside our government.
P.P.S. I wanted to tell you about the U.N. officials caught up in bribery schemes involving BMWs, Rolex watches and luxury homes, but I ran out of space. However your newsletter contains the details.
