Tattered Flag – Tattered Nation A Call to Action; Time to Serve

The shame our nation bears in these turbulent days, is that the people have lost control of their government to a handful of crafty Plutocrats. The people are so discouraged that only about 60-65% of them vote. The highest voter turnout, 81.2%, was for the presidential election of 1860, some 154 years ago.  The lowest was in 1924, 48.9%, between the first and second depressions; side effects of the central banking system authorized by the Federal Reserve Act (ch. 6, 38 Stat. 251, enacted December 23, 1913, 12 U.S.C. ch. 3.)

Since the enactment of the Federal Reserve Act, the control of the U.S. Currency has been by elitists working behind closed doors, not the people. There is a whole “system” of manipulation in play that engineers most but not all of who the people have a choice of for the Senate and for the Congress of the United States. Gladly, I am not one of their choices, but I can be yours.

Simply put, there is no way to restore America except by electing your own change agents. That is why I am stepping up to the plate. It is up to you to support this battle to take back America or give up and let her collapse into utter ruin.

Before the 1912 gutting of the constitution, with the enactment of the Federal Reserve Act, one of the greatest things about the way the Founders of the United States set up the functioning of our government was the idea that the government acts as our servant. Some will argue, and I tend to agree, that we are not a true Democracy. Indeed, we are, in my humble opinion, a Republic, and that means to me that we elect officials who are to represent us in the halls of our government.

Since then, the voters have had a choice at the polls between evil one or evil two. Democracy is mob rule. 51% of the people can take away the rights of 49% of the people. In a republic, even 99% of the people can’t take away the rights of 1% of the people. Rights do not come from government, they come from God, even if you are an atheist. Our forefathers called those rights

Natural rights come from our Creator. No government ever created a single person; they tend to destroy a lot of them. Think this all the way through, governments hurt far more people than they help. Do you need Obama Care to remind you of this? The Founding fathers purposely limited the power of government to preserve liberty for the people. Governments, over time, become progressively more tyrannical. Need I remind you of the EPA? The NSA? Homeland Security? The TSA?

Natural and legal rights are two different types of rights. Legal rights are those bestowed onto a person by a given legal system. Natural rights are those not contingent upon the laws, customs, or beliefs of any particular culture of government, but by our Creator.

I understand, some folks actually believe mankind created himself; that we had no Creator. People can believe what they want, even if it is not true. You have a right to tell a lie just as much as you do the truth. But really, nothing exists except that if was created. Even in factories, where robots do the lion’s share of the grunt work, someone created the robots and someone else operates them and repairs them.

These days, the Plutocrats own and control most of our Congressmen and Senators, lock, stock and barrel. More and more, the people are becoming aware of this fact.

That is one reason why I have taken an interest in serving as a public servant for a couple of terms and then during those terms, training a replacement. to take over serving the people. Long after I have gone to my rewards above, I hope to leave behind an army of diligent citizens, who will fight the Plutocrats and whip their greedy arses good. (Now that was mighty good language for a
military guy, wouldn’t you agree?)

What matters to me is what I leave behind, not what I accumulate in the here and now. I love my country, my friends and my family. Of course, it would be far more comfortable to sit home and flip channels on the boob tube. Stepping up to the plate was not in my plans but I see the need for someone to do it who will not be a sell out.

Maybe you need to do the same thing and run for an office, just like I am and for the same reasons; you are tired of having tyrants micromanaging your life and causing all sorts of misery and strife. If you are running for the same reasons I am, I’ll stand behind you and I expect that you will stand behind me.

The President, Vice President, every member of Congress and all other people who stand for and are elected to public office, are indeed supposed to
be working for us, as Public Servants. No where in the Constitution are they authorized to use executive privilege. That was reserved for the people in the 4th and 9th amendments. Alas my friends, we have permitted them to turn the tables on us. This is about recovery and restoration for we have indeed been lax in our duties as Citizens.

“At the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 18, 1787, a Mrs. Powell anxiously awaited the results, and as Benjamin Franklin emerged from the long task now finished, asked him directly: “Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” “A republic if you can keep it,” responded Franklin.” Keep it we must! This is why I have offered to serve you, to be part of keeping this republic.

Just as in the days of our founders, it takes the people, not the politicians.  Today, our politicians have played to a stalemate at our expense. That is why
we must throw the bums out! We must replace career politicians with term limited statesmen that serve all of the people well; deferring not to the Plutocrats and their bundles of filthy lucre.

The most important, and if I may use the word, sacred, documents of our nation all speak to the ideals of liberty and the subservience of the government to the will of the People; That is, People with a capital P. Tell that to a modern bureaucrat, like Lois Lerner or Eric Holder and they will look down on you as if you have no right to exist; much less question their tyranny.

Since when are political parties and the plutocrats more important than the people? Since when is it more important for the self proclaimed rulers to fiddle fart on the golf course, when so many troubles draw nie? Why give a Congressman, a Senator or a President another term when they don’t stand
up for much in their last term? Why do we so often chose the lessor of two evils? Why not pick a good man or woman, make sure they serve the people
rather than rules over them like common tyrants?

Why isn’t my own Congressman on the march to set us free from all this fiddle-fart tyranny? Why is my own Congressman working to downsize the monster that government has become? Why is he part of the problem instead of part of the solution? Will he admit he is part of the problem? NO. (Who does that?) Have you ever seen a tyrant admit he was a tyrant?

This government as we have come to see it either stands or falls solely upon the will of We the People, if we but stick to the original design. If we participate and demand excellence from our leaders, if we hold them to a higher standard because they are OUR public servants, then the ability of any one of them to try to get away with breaking the law will be greatly reduced.

If, however, we act like sheep and allow our leaders to act as if we work for them, things will go badly awry. That is the state we find ourselves in today.
That is why we must make the right kind of changes. We must get back on course. We must know but now that the financial problems of our nation
cannot be solved with more debt to the international bankers, the New World Order Guys.

In my humble opinion, we have generally been sheep as of late. Things done by elected and their choices of unelected officials have, also in my opinion,
broken the covenant between the governed and the public servants we send to represent us.

Our founders stated that when a government no longer represents the people being governed, then the people have the God-given right and duty to do
something drastic to remedy that situation. In the 1770's that remedy was revolution and war.

Today, how should we reply to the harm done to us by the people we send to act as our public servants? What would people such as George Washington
say about the public servants in our government in 2008? Would he be proud and tell us how lucky we are to have such noble and honest souls to lead our nation to future greatness? Would he applaud the actions of people such as Alberto Gonzales and Dick Cheney?

What political party did George Washington belong? None, as he did not believe in political parties. I am running on the republican ticket as a public
servant. I am free to stand up to the leadership of the party because I refuse to accept the strings of attachment that comes from sleazy deals with lobbyists.

Liberty is priceless and therefore must never be sold for any price. To me, lobbyist money is akin to the thirty pieces of silver accepted by Judas Iscariot.

Or would George Washington, as I suspect, chide us for allowing things to get so badly out of control? Would he tell us that we need to act responsibly and demand greatness from our leaders? Would he tell us, as others back then said, that leaders subservient to political parties could never truly be public servants, servants acting with the good of We the People in mind?

It doesn’t matter if we are Republicans or Democrats, Greens or Libertarian, or of any other party, or not aligned with any party at all – there is something rotten in the United States today, something that demands of each and every patriot to stand up and be counted. The people and the nation must be honored, not political parties.

I am a Army veteran and I truly want to love and be proud of my country. There are indeed many great things we have done and are doing in the world today, but we are also slowly falling into the grip of special interests and people who do not have our best interests in mind. I speak not only of politicians, but also of those who hold influence over our elected leaders. I speak also of ourselves, for we, ultimately, hold or fail to hold the true power in this nation.

If we truly are the government, as the Founders intended, then we have no one but ourselves to blame if the government fails to act responsibly.
I for one do not agree that lobbyists and special interest groups trump my position as citizen, voter and participant in the government of the United States of America. I, like you, alone and by myself, am infinitely much more important than any special interest group. At least, that is how I see it, because my Constitution and Bill of Rights tells me so.

If it is different, if we no longer believe those precious documents to hold sway over our government, then tell me so, and I will do as George Washington did and demand that things be changed. I will wage a war of words to try to point out what is foul in this great nation; what needs to be done to restore power to We the People.

And as a modern day Patriot, one of millions across the land, and as a citizen who votes in each election, again one of millions across the nation, and as
one who like you has rights and liberties, as well as responsibilities, I demand that our government remember that We the People are the only reason they sit where they are in Washington D. C., and that our business is the ONLY business they need consider when enacting laws.

Why don’t legislators focus on um-enacting laws?  Don’t we have far too many?

I don’t want lip service – I don’t want to be patronized – I want the elected leaders to be put on notice that I, along with millions of other citizens, am angry, on guard and ready to do everything I can to restore the basic tenets of our government to where they belong – in the hands of We the People. I will no longer allow any person to lie to me and tell me that they know best.

If they do otherwise then they have given us every excuse and every right to overthrow the status quo, to upset the applecart and create or recreate a
government that truly, as Lincoln said, is “of the People, by the People and for the People,” so that it “shall not perish from the earth”.

If they fail to uphold the law and represent We the People, then they are, in my opinion, traitors. That is not easy for me to say, because like many of you, I want to believe that all is good and that all is right. But my eyes and ears and every sense of patriotism in my soul tell me that things are far from being all right.

I hope you will read this with an open mind and understand that you, and me, and all of us, are the government of the United States. It is ours to keep, or ours to throw away, and whichever action we take, the survival of our government rests solely upon our shoulders.

Our leaders are there to serve us, and if they fail in that regard, it is our right, and more importantly our duty, to make sure they do not remain in office.
If that means removing them either through the ballot box or by impeachment, the Constitution and other laws of the land give us the right to make that happen. Search your conscience, learn about your rights and responsibilities, and then act as the Founders of this nation would have done – do what is right and good.

Being a concerned citizen is neither easy nor simple. Much is demanded of us, and if we fail to do our duty, the nation as we revere it will not stand.
Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address – Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, November 19, 1863. Said: “Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.

We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives
that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate – we can not consecrate – we can not hallow – this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.

It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us – that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion – that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain – that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom – and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

Let me hear back from you, even if you disagree. All I ask, if you disagree, is to do so agreeably and carefully explain yourself, your reasons, your logic. Tell me your story. Explain to me where I am wrong and why you are right. Does do it pleasantly and clearly, not like a raving maniac, so I can learn to serve you better.

Look, I am not the perfect candidate, I have my flaws. But if you can accept me as I am, willing to serve you, to be your change agent, then by all means, join the team. Take a leadership role. I am not staying a Congressman long, assuming you chose me to lead this charge against tyranny, maybe one of you can be the next one to take over leadership and carry on.

Our flag is tattered, our nation is torn; we have lost so much; but we are Americans and as such, we must not surrender to tyranny; we must take this stand. Join the Isaacson Army.  I can not sit idly by, fiddle-fart while my nation is burning.  This is a call to duty, a call to action.  Will you accept your call?  Can you nation count on you?  Will you sacrifice a little?  May God save this nation and see what we have had or have not done, in this hour of need.  Rise up my fellow countrymen, let us take hold of this tattered flag and hold it high!
